I’m an artist—how do I participate?

Mural Masters is a curated festival highlighting top graffiti, mural, and street artists connected to Burien and the greater PNW. We prioritize artists who have strong community ties and demonstrate mastery of their craft. Volunteering or introducing yourself helps us get to know your work! Applications for new artists open each fall.

Who organizes Mural Masters?

Mural Masters is run by a small volunteer team of Burien-based artists and organizers who love graffiti, muralism, and community art. Meet the crew on our About page.

Do you take commissions or connect artists with businesses?

Our focus is the annual festival, but we love when businesses want to join the movement! If you’d like your wall to be part of the next event, email us and we’ll add you to our rotation list.

How are artists selected?

Each year we invite a mix of returning favorites and new voices—artists who’ve proven excellence in graffiti, sign painting, and street art. Our goal is to represent a range of styles and stories while showcasing the highest quality of public art in Burien.

Is the event free?

Yes! All Mural Masters programming—including the art market, live painting, and panel discussions—is completely free and open to all ages.

How can I support Mural Masters year-round?

We fundraise year-round to make this community event possible. You can donate anytime through our Shunpike page, grab exclusive merch, or attend our art shows and fundraisers to keep the walls alive!
